Gerald F. Arceneaux was born in Houma, Louisiana in 1968. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Nicholls State University. A magna cum laude graduate, Gerald was awarded the Harvey Peltier Most Outstanding Student of American History at graduation.
Gerald obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola University school of Law in 2003. A magna cum laude graduate of Loyola Law School, Gerald graduated in the top five percent (5%) of his class, and he was acknowledged as a William L. Crowe Scholar. Gerald received several awards while at Loyola, including the Dean's Scholarship.

Prior to attending Law School, Gerald was a regional manager for a Fortune 500 Company, which afforded real-world experiences in the business arena. This real world experience coupled with his educational achievements, provides Gerald with unique insight into legal matters, both simple and complex. These attributes also instilled a desire to perform the best legal job possible at a reasonable rate.

Although Gerald practices in all areas of Civil Law, his focus is in professional negligence, construction defect, premise liability, business formation, and estate planning. Gerald is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana, and is a memeber in good standing in the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Terrebonne Parish Bar Association.
